well, it's hideous... in the original statement they said, "take immediate and strict action against negligent and reckless motorists that cause deliberate disturbances in neighbourhoods.
I'm not sure if al faya and badayer fall into some neighborhood :023:
On one hand they permitted insance disturbance in a residential area for 3 days (i'm referring to the motor tuning show in sharjah especially the 4x4 drift arena :) and then this on the other hand...
its just disappointing...

:032: OH Hmmm... This rule explains that those mighty trucks searching for oil or gas in the sands have come home empty :015::005:
My experience with new rules & Regulations in Sharjah.

Good Morning All,
I don't like to post such thread from the early morning:046:........But I would like to share my experience as we are ONE FAMILY.
Let me start the topic with a small advice.......
pls pls pls pls guys, for those who like their vehicles DO NOT enter even Shajah's borders.
Yesterday evening arround 20.15 hrs I went to Sharjah to prepare my wrangler for the weekend.
believe me guys, before even raching the garage I was cought -or let me say stopped- by Sharjah CID. I really don't know from where they appeared.:ambivalence:
they were checking every single modification in the car including the ALMOST4X4 sticker.:056:
luckily... the exhaust system was removed 1/2 hour back in Dubai & it was with me in the car. but, still they inspected the engine compartment and told me... Look.. there is an after market air filter installed.
I explaind them that I'm from Dubai & I came for fixing my car and I'll be away from Sharjah, but that was not an excuse for them.
hardly:013: they let me go after 50mins. & 1000s ways of explanation. We reached to an agreement with a promise that I'm going to get the car back to stock. :012: and I have to go again to them for inspection.
So, pleaeaeaease guys ...if don't have anything to do in Sharjah..then don't even think about going there with a modified car.:023:
Regards,
BU-Hamdan

Thank you Bu Hamdan for sharing your experience.. we have to be also careful when we are going to the meeting point because we might pass in some area like Nazwa, Al madam or the Al Bedayer.
It would be helpful if our marshals can suggest new access to these area (e.g. A53) without passing in Sharjah border :011:

Ive been paranoid since i read from gulf news that 120 cars were confiscated permanently due to modifications ......
big question is ..... the BADAYER shops are in sharjah right??????? ..... how are we gonna be affected on friday mornings?????
goodbye to my borla exhaust ..... hello old stock muffler .... with catalytic converter :012:

O boy, we seriously need some help and guidance here.
Founders/Marshalls can we get some advice on this situation, if it's that serious.
Can EMSF be of any help?

LOL, this is ridiculous, I'd rather to go to SHJ by public transportation than driving my monster to it!!
I don't think it's taking long, something must be done sometime...
let's see!!
