I have an idea with some drawings to make it out of aluminium, but I don't have time, soon, once I'm bored with this :p

As most of you knows i have a truck and not an FJ, but i did not have a box to store my stuff so they were always me in the cabin with me and that was not safe, so started looking for available option of boxes, found some on the internet which cost between 300$ to 500 $ plus shipping and i had the option to custom make one over here and also the cost would be around 1000 AED to 3500 AED and that made me delay the purchase due to budget related. few day ago i was with DL (Desert Lizard) and he told me : why don’t you simply go to Sharjah, Souk Al Bahar and get a readymade box and attach it with some ropes!!!!??? so i did, i went there and got the below;

Box size is 100x55x42 (CM).
Cost:
Box and locks: 130 AED
Attaching ropes: 40 AED
Paint: 30 AED
Total: 200 AED, looooooooooooooool that got me a nice looking tool box which fulfill the required and this is my humble contribution to this thread.
PS: While i was installing the box Hamdan passed by and i came to know that he also has the same in his Cherokee so i guess it can also be fitted in an FJ :015:
Cheers and good luck finding the best option for your toy.
