The best source is Dragonmart, last time I was there the offer was about 160 Dhs/unit, some Chinese brand starting with Q...., has a display and lots of buttons on front, just ask if the radio is capable to recieve UHF and VHF bands. You'll get probably the answer - "yes, no ploblem" :)

Regarding GPS we have some offer here - http://www.almost4x4.com/vb/showthread. ... armin-Shop. Just be sure, that the unit can record the track you passed, for your future reference and storage. Good feature is to have with the unit also MapSource software, that you can update later your maps or unit itself.

If the price is too high, again in Dragonmart they sell some 'Garmins' as well, but I'm not sure about the reliability.

according to weather cast updates, its going to rain on monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursday and maybe friday, so is it ok to drive during a harsh weather?!!
