The good thing about Jeeps is they look good before as well as after modification... when FJs are modified... they look like... umm... umm.... umm... go back to the first post of this thread :005:
Jokes apart, it all boils down to personal preferences. But its good to see we're all very patriotic about our vehicles :015:

Aatif, you mentioned the correct thing about Peep - they just look good for the owner in front of his house and that's ALL :008: and I'm afraid you started a new war :038:
The definition of a Full Size Jeep (FSJ):
A Four wheel mechanized device surrounded by glass and metal designed for the frequent consumption of the owner/operator's money. FSJs are also linked to diseases such as Jeep envy which can be diagnosed by unusual urges for items such as bigger tires, lift kits, shocks and of course more mony spent. :012:
As well as the urge to pour money into more than one FSJ. Side effects may be spouse accruing numerous "honey-do's", as well as trips to inlaws. Grease under your nails, numerous trips to Sharjah junk yards, and spare parts in the attic may indicate an addiction. There are no known cures. However there are support groups such as Almost 4X4 and ofcourse the FJ Forum... one recent possible cure from Dr. Toyota ...dump PEEP (oops) and buy an FJ!!!:051:
That's correct, I was looking around scrap yards in Sharjah, to post eventually something for FJ or Nissan owners. Scrap people were looking at me like coming from Mars. "FJ? Pathfinder? Very rarely coming here, only if fatal accident. Buy a Jeep and you'll find plenty of parts in every scrap yard..."

I really don't care that my XJ budget had exceeded the value of a used FJ , and i don't mind having regular trips to Sharjah industrial area , visiting scrap yards , spare parts shops and mechanic workshops . Anti jeepers can bring up all the reasonable articles about not buying a " JEEP " , using rational reasons , applying science , debating in a very sensible way . well guys , you are right , owning a " JEEP " doesn't make sense , its a total waste of time , effort and money.
That is why we call it " THE JEEP THING " , its a kind of love and passion that does not make any sense , I have only one question for all of you , does love make sense ? , does marriage make sense ?
Why you married people , still love your wives ????? :032::011::012:
