Dear Almosters,

Stars Track is a legendary saga of newbie drives sponsored by @Barish with the aim of introducing new members in this amazing off-road hobby and for some of us, much more than this.

And the latter is what happened last week at Nahil, lovely playground by the way, in which Barish demonstrated one more time who is the "General" cool here delivering an outstanding set of lines and techniques. From the outside, we could feel how members were getting better minute by minute with significant improvements towards the end of the drive, in terms of keeping the right distance, radio comm, right momentum etc.

Personally, I am very happy with this new batch of newbies who demonstrated capability to listen and understand the basics and willingness to keep on learning by making questions and so on.

Thanks to my explorers mates (@David and @Ehab ) who did a great job (along with me thumbsup ) keeping the convoy safe and in a good shape at all times and to the only interm brave soul showing up and supporting the convoy at the middle, @Vika . Thanks for your commitment thumbsup

See you next time.

Newbie drive in Nahil organized and with Barish as leading car.

Mixture of members with some of them completing their 1st post-CM drive and others with already some experience with the club.

These situations are always difficult both for the leading Marshall and drivers as, at this stage, the difference between having 1 or 5 drives can be massive.

Still, what matters is to feel that you are improving drive after drive. These initial drives are designed for you to start knowing your car better and getting familiar with the feeling of driving on sand, do not worry about 2nd tries and making errors, this is normal, just remember to follow the safety basics (no fighting gravity on arches, no flying on straight crests, communicate and keep the right distance) and the rest will keep on improving drive after drive.

Only one support car (Vika, thanks for joining) which made things even more complex, interm cars in between the convoy always help to give consistency and make things flow better, shame a few drivers had to pull out from the support team.

Last point, please, be on time out of respect for others, in the app you will see "meeting time" and "starting time", starting time means both you and your car (deflated, flag on, ...) ready for the Marshall´s briefing and to get moving.

Thank you Barish for organizing and taking care of the drive, same for fellow Explorers Ehab and Carlos for attending.

See you on the sand soon!!!

thanks @Barish for another great Nahil drive and to the 3 explorers for keeping us safe.
It felt like a fairly easy drive for me, and I could focus on :
1. keeping proper distance with the car in front
2. trying to drive smoothly for the car behind to follow the flow
3. working on speed & line to avoid having to fight gravity
4. taking care of my car (first time I don't have to pick up pieces of plastic) + trying to go through obstacles more smoothly.
Already looking forward to the next outing

Hello everyone,

We have completed another Almost4x4 traditional training drive for fresh 5- Newbies accompanied by our 5- and 5+ Oldbies.

Nahil is a very proper driving area introducing several challenges supported by several terrains. We have trained through arches and did a big step on how to drive in a convoy. We had the chance to chit chat & have coffee in the middle as well as a short re-briefing for refreshment of the learnings.

Now its time to experience different things in your new level and enjoy your journey in Almost4x4.

Dont forget; you can never change unless you do not improve.

See you next time.

Stars Track XIII – September 20th 2025

Hello everyone!
What an amazing drive it was, and how unfortunate that this week turned out to be so busy that I could not write my Trip Report earlier. Still, I cannot leave this trip without sharing my gratitude and a few comments.

It looked like a VIP event for our 5-, but in the end, it became a VIP experience for me personally. I was truly surprised when I arrived at the meeting point and realized that I was the only one from the intermediates, who joined this trip
organized by @Barish , where during the briefing, he pointed out that all the rescues had to be made by me and asked all participants to be extra attentive, as the weather was indeed very hot.

Much has already been said, but there are still some things I would like to add.

I will never stop repeating how lucky you 5- drivers are to have the opportunity to practice and learn on such an amazing playground. Only @CARLOSS will truly understand what I mean right now.

It was an incredibly cool track, combining pure sand and wide open space, with countless arches, climbs, and drops where you could really learn to feel your car. You could practice choosing the exact speed needed to overcome each obstacle — and not only to overcome it, but most importantly, to do so safely.
Thank you @Barish for organising this trip.

What an amazing group of our explorers — represented by @David , @CARLOSS , and @Ehab !
Such a solid team, always ready with constructive advice and support on where and how to pass certain sections the right way.

And of course, thank you to all 5- drivers for not letting me sweat. There was not a single stuck. Well done!

Till the next time.

Hello All,

It was a wonderful drive organized by Barish, the first drive for most of the newbies after the CM drive.

All the newbies got to learn basics of off roading, keeping the safe distance, maintaining the line, signalling after the crests and all.

I got my first chance to drive as the second lead, which was a surprise and an honour to me given by @Barish Special thanks for this.

I would say you learn something new everytime you drive on the sand. It was a fun basic drive and everyone enjoyed it.

Thanks to all the support team and explorers for their support.

Looking forward for the next drive.

Cheers.
