This is one the signature trip of ALMOST4x4
The trip, perfectly named “Cresting Mina,” involved navigating hundreds of crests and was designed for intermediate members. Initially, I thought it was a joke, but once we started, I found myself cresting ten dunes in less than a minute. It was an exhilarating experience.
The drive was led by Marshal Rashid Jass, with support from Scorpio and advanced member Haider. Alongside Ahmed Hassan, I was positioned at the back, right in front of the sweeper.
The roar of engines filled the air, and sand flowed like smoke, fueling the high adrenaline levels among all participants. The excitement was palpable. We tackled the first area perfectly before moving on to the more challenging sections, which were astonishing and unlike anything I’d experienced before.
We drove for a total of 3 hours and 8 minutes, including 29 minutes of rest. Throughout the trip, phrases like “control your car,” “hard brake,” “fix your flag,” and “is this member with us?” echoed frequently.
This adventure was not only thrilling but also a testament to the skills and camaraderie of all involved.
